An
official announced on Thursday that the Delhi Police had detained a man who had
masturbated and ejaculated on a young passenger on a Delhi Metro train.
A senior
police official revealed the incident's specifics, stating that it occurred on
Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. at a busy time for Raksha Bandhan celebrations in the
Metro.
"The
mother of the youngster caught the man ejaculating on her on the crowded train.
When the woman raised the alarm, other passengers nabbed the suspect and turned
him over to Delhi Metro authorities, according to the officer.
The culprit, who is from West Bengal, was given
over to Metro staff at Shahdara station after the woman and her daughter exited
the train at Seelampur, the official continued. Metro staff then alerted the
police.
Similar
news was reported by Delhi Metro. Shivam Sharma, a 23-year-old man, was
detained after police in Delhi said he made lewd gestures toward a woman at the
Mandi House metro station. The incident happened as the woman waited at station
1 for a buddy. On station number two, the defendant started acting
inappropriately toward her. The woman alerted the CISF personnel at the station
about the event, but the suspect was able to escape by boarding a metro train. Police in Delhi identified the suspect using
CCTV footage and detained him at his home in Rajiv Nagar, Begumpur.
The
officer claimed that the accused was riding in the same crowded coach as the
young girl and her mother during the Raksha Bandhan celebrations. He claimed
that the man had masturbated and ejaculated on the infant.
The
accused, who is from West Bengal, was apprehended by two fellow passengers who
noticed the incident and later handed him over to the Delhi Metro authorities
at the Shahdara station, the officials said. The girl's mother noticed that the
man had ejaculated on her daughter in the crowded coach and she got off at the
Seelampur station.
Later, the station staff notified the
police.
This incident is just the most recent
in a long line of notable incidents that have occurred on the Delhi Metro in
recent years.

A 23-year-old guy was detained earlier
this month for reportedly masturbating in front of a woman on a Delhi Metro
station platform. The accused, Shivam Sharma, allegedly masturbated in front of
the woman at the Mandi House metro station, according to the police.
According to an official, the victim
went up to a member of the CISF at the station and lodged a complaint against
the accused after witnessing this disgusting behaviour. He stated that the
incident happened on August 7.
The woman claimed that after boarding
a train from the Tughlaqabad station, she was waiting for a buddy at the Mandi
House station. She said that the defendant began masturbating in front of her
when they were both standing on the opposite platform.
The male had taken a metro and fled
the scene before the CISF troops could catch him, according to police, who
added that the woman had rushed up to the CISF.
Sharma was the target of a case that
was filed at the Pragati Maidan Metro station, and the defendant was identified
using surveillance footage from the Mandi House station. Sharma had left the
train at the Nangloi station, it was found.
Sharma was located in Delhi's Begumpur
on the basis of this information and later detained, according to the police.
